Looking at the micro statistics, there were 210 vehicles (4.4%) in the surveyed total in which inadequate maintenance was confirmed in accidents during the past 11 years.
TOf these 210 vehicles, poor maintenance was assumed to have been the primary cause of accidents in 52 vehicles, accounting for 1.1% of all vehicles surveyed. (Figure 8)
